Do you have good communications skills with an ability to present and explain complex information in simple ways? Are you able to confidently interact with staff at all levels? Do you have excellent IT skills with experience of word processing applications? If yes then the role of Resource Office could be the one for you. You will provide support to the Workforce and Resource Planning Manager on ensuring that the directorate has the right capability and capacity to meet its objectives and resource for current and future projects across the agency to reduce the risk of non-delivery of work and/or reputational damage. Your main responsibilities in the role will be to: ? support the demand management function ensuring the directorate can meet business demand with the right people at the right time through effective workforce planning ? act as the subject matter expert for the directorate in regards to the frameworks available for the procurement of contingent labour and managing the extensions process making sure paperwork is completed and submitted correctly and on time to ensure continuity of service. ? manage the development and delivery of the directorate training and development strategy to ensure individuals have the right skills to undertake their role and help to support succession planning across the directorate ? be responsible for undertaking a skills gap analysis for the directorate, ensuring training and development needs are identified and discussed with line managers to improve capabilities through professional development plans ? provide support to the Portfolio Engagement & Planning Management Team as and when required You can be based at either Nottingham or Bristol with regular travel between sites. Some additional travel with overnight stays may also be required. Please see attached role profile for additional responsibilities.
