177260 Principal Technical Architect, Cross Industry PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES EMEA North considers Customer success at the heart of business success. Todrive this objective in the region, we are currently looking for an experienced Business Solution Architect who will work with SAP?s EMEA North customers to drive customer success and create true business value from SAP solutions. This Architect will specialise in Technical Architectures with focus oninnovation and integration scenarios for Customer roadmaps.   The Architect will work closely at ?C? level with some of our most strategic customers in the EMEA North region.   As this is thought leadership role, this Architect will have proven Customer Stakeholder skills, able to combine Technical/Development experience with SAP?s latest solutions, together with excellent storytelling and presentation skills.   In the technical areas, the Architect will demonstrate experience in and a deep knowledgeofa wide variety of technical architectures and roadmaps for SAP and non-SAP customers.  A key requisite is the ability to develop Technical roadmapsincorporating new solutions, and any necessary integration scenarios, in a constantly evolving product environment. In this role, the Technical Architect will work collaboratively with SW account teams, IVE, pre-sales, Development, IBUs and other internal expert groups to evolve and package unique solutions and roadmaps for our customers. This also includes working collaboratively with SAP?s Partners in the technical areas.   It is essential to demonstrate a proven ability to thinkstrategically in line with SAP?s software roadmap, and to develop and document long term technical roadmaps considering current and future solutions for customers. This includes working in alignment with solution architectsto defineholistic technical and solution roadmaps and landscapes for customers. Presentation skills at C-level and Board level are required. The ability to understand the customer?s business expectations and bring this together with SAP solutions, then playback in a compelling, persuasive and genuine manner is a key requirement in this role.  Proven experience in rapidly envisioning, or building, demonstrations, proofs of concept, or mock-up solution walk-throughs is essential. Experience and ability to problem-solve in a complex multi-layered global organisation is critical. Knowledge of SAP?s support and services teams, other specialist teams, and ability to work with these experts for customer success is a day to day part of this role.  EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Act in a leadership role in engaging with EMEA North customers.  Act in a trusted advisory role and represent SAP solutions and processes, with focus on Technical architecture and integration. Engage with C-level stake holders in understanding business requirements, current technicallandscape and propose reliable and sustainable technical architectures and roadmaps for SAP?s customers in EMEA North. Configure scenariosin SAP, sufficient to build demonstrations, proofs of concept, or mock-ups. Create end to end content for compelling solution frameworks including the Technical landscape, integrationtouch-points and showcase business benefits of SAP?s solutions for identified customers. When needed, work on customer RFP?s with account teams, develop the necessary value-propositions andpackage Technicalroadmaps, architectures, services/support offerings (internal or Partner network) to land a winning deal. Reactively help customers in emergency situations, to closure, working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a resolution. Create trusted relationships with customers and proactively manage the engagement, in specified situations. Manage internal and external stakeholders.  Contribute to enhancing the knowledge management process within the solution portfolio, from a Technical perspective. Createbusiness best practices, process flows, templates, enablement sessions, demos and Proof of concepts as needed for internal sales support and for customers.   EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESGraduate / Post-Graduate degree in Management, IT or Engineering areas.
