DUE TO EXPANSIONAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join our team at our busy Grimsby office.We are looking for someone who is AAT Qualified or to at least Part-Qualified to AAT Level 4.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and running of our Accounts and Finance Department.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and forward thinking with the ability to work under their own initiative as well as working well with others in a team.Their main duties will include: Reconciliation of the Firms main control accounts including bank, purchase and sales ledgers accounts. Reconciliation of all client?s monies and client accounts on a timely basis. Undertaking regular physical cash checks and reconciliations. Preparation of the Firms VAT Returns and other statutory filing obligations. Ensuring all information is collated and ready for the preparation of the quarterly management accounts by the external accountants and liaising with them as required. Experience in using the Sage Accounts Module is essential for this role.In addition, the successful candidate will also be responsible for least one other member of staff therefore experience in the management of others be would be preferable.Previous experience in the Estate Agency Sector is beneficial but if not, training will be given.Benefits for this role include 20 day?s holiday + Bank Holidays per year, pension scheme, health scheme.You will be required to work Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm, equivalent to 37.5 hours per week.Please apply by e-mail, attaching a covering letter and
