Our client is an industry Technology business backed by some very successful investors from within the industry, contributing to their track record of high growth and financial success. They have an innovative and unique business model compared to other technology firms, giving them a leading position in the industry, as well as receiving awards for their services.The business is looking for an experienced accountant to join the team on an interim basis whilst they proceed with new projects and focus on their growth over the next 2-3 years. The new appointee will manage the day to day accounting process and cycles, management accounts, financial statements and support the FP&A team with budgets and performance metrics.Key Responsibilities:Managing the day-to-day accounting process for the business, including journal entries, accounts payable and payroll;Preparing Monthly management accounts, yearly financial statements and being the main point of contact for the external auditors;Company secretarial tasks and liaising with the lawyers who support the businesses;Working with the FP&A team to report on performance metrics both weekly and monthly;Supporting the FP&A Manager with reporting on cost relating to marketing spend and the relevant cost channels;Supporting in the preparing of opex budgets;Reviewing processes and implementing improvements where possible in addition to getting involved with ad-hoc projects and analysis.The Ideal Candidate:An experienced Accountant with relevant qualification;A strong communicator, able to articulate their point clearly and concisely with finance or non-finance functions, and comfortable with challenging others;A proven track record of building and maintaining key internal and external stakeholder relationships;Strong IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes;Strong communication skills both written and oral.I will be contacting candidates with the closest match to the client's selection criteria within 48 hours of application to arrange an initial meeting.
