Role Summary: ?Reporting to the Head of Compliance and working within the Processing Team you will be responsible for the management of the processing department on a day to day basis and overseeing the full processing teamScope of Role: ?To ensure everyone within the processing team conducts themselves and their everyday activities in an honest and responsible manner?Ensure all employees comply with the processing procedures?Provide regular updates and summary of current position including any risks and action plans for improvement ?Troubleshoot any issues within the department ?Provide updated information and identify risk for the Head of ComplianceOutline of Role: ?Monitor and oversee the processing for the team?Main point of contact for all employees in the unit?Assist with internal audit of application processes?Identify risk and solutions for risk?Assist with the development of the department ?Ensure all employees are processing applications to a standard required by MPE?Establish and model clear behavioural norms to create strong and positive team climate that exudes confidence and enthusiasm ? using our values framework?Build loyalty and capability within the team and use appropriate techniques to analyse and determine where development is needed. ?Manage team holidays, rotas, sickness absence and adhere to MEH guidelines and seek support where required?Utilise the resources in the department in an appropriate manner based on the workloads each day?Oversee and advice on any structural changes required within the team?Identify any time saving changes which can be made to the team to produce a more streamlined approach?Produce reporting documents for ops levelThis role requires flexibility. Completion of other duties may be required at the discretion of the Management TeamThe Person ?You?ll need award winning diplomacy skills as a Manager as you?ll often get caught in the rocky ground between senior management and staff. ?You?ll need to be approachable to staff, but still implement senior management instruction.?You?ll need to be able to inspire and motivate your team and balance maintaining good relationships without losing your authority.?You must have strong demonstrable team management skills with a strong focus on coaching and you must be able to lead by example. A professional attitude and appearance is appropriate to this role.?The ability to work on individual initiative whilst fitting in to a vibrant and enthusiastic team environment.?Evidence of sustained technical, client service or pension processing related success and compliant practice.?Demonstrable experience of managing 5+ FTE within a processing function.Key Qualifications Required - essential (E) and desired (D) ?DipFA ? Level 4 Qualification (E)or willing to study?Institute of Leadership & Management ? Level 3, 4 or 5 (D)?GCSE or Equivalent in Maths and English ? Grade C and above (E)Key Knowledge Required - essential (E) and desired (D) ?Working knowledge of pensions(E)?Demonstrable experience of management(E)Required Skills - essential (E) and desired (D) ?Experience in a similar role within the financial services industry (E)?Be able to train, coach and raise awareness of the significance of business skills(E)?Organise training sessions either through meetings or e-learning (E)?Be able to put monitoring programmes in place to measure efficiency and to identify areas for potential improvement (E)?Be able to produce procedural documents relating to team tasks ( E)?Provide reports on progress made by the team(E)?Ability to manage a team fairly and effectively and get the best out of people (E)?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (E)?Be able to quickly identify a work load situation and react quickly to redeploying resources (E)Accountabilities & Working Relationships ?Manages a team?Reports into Head of ComplianceWorking Environment & Hours ?Based in Doncaster?Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
