Jefferies provides research and execution services in equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, futures and commodities markets, and a full range of investment banking services including underwriting, merger and acquisition, restructuring and recapitalisation.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities are:Structuring and preparing technical and financial analysis for marketing and transactional purposes In-depth market research (e.g. identification of acquirors/targets, transactions, market activity) Detailed company profiling and analysesCompiling and managing databasesAssisting with company valuations (e.g.  trading comparables, precedent transactions, DCFmodels)Building and interrogating complex operating and financial valuation models in ExcelAssisting with the production of client presentations/documents (e.g.  pitch books, process timetables and letters, valuation materials)Involvement in client meetings and on client calls (including interfacing with clients in person/by email/on calls)Project management across multiple demanding and time critical initiativesPreparing sector market updates and manage internal databasesLiaising with Equities and Fixed Income on projects as neededPerson SpecificationThe following skills and experience are required for this role:Outstanding academic credentials - minimum of bachelors degree with a 2.1 or equivalent grade, ideally in a numerical subjectProven track record of achievements (University and extra-curricular)Prior relevant experience as an intern or junior analystStrong numerical and financial modelling skillsSolid understanding of business and corporate finance principlesStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work autonomouslyGood time management and organisational skillsRigorous attention to detailLocation:           LondonSalary:              Competitive Closing Date:   04/05/18
