This growth offers great opportunities for learning and progression. As an auditor at EY, your main aim will be to provide independent verification of our clients? compliance with accounting principles. By doing so, you will play an important role in helping businesses accurately reflect their financial picture and, in turn, protect the financial markets. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on providing services to your clients as they respond to regulatory reform, manage the capital life cycle and improve business operations. Following a flagship win within the Banking and Capital Markets team we are looking for a Manager that has worked on a large Bank, preferably Commercial or Retail that has experience in auditing ?Credit? at the Bank. This primarily relates to the audit of loan loss provisioning. The Manager will have experience in reviewing loan files which is the key audit test for specific provisions and crucial to this role. Ideally, they will have exposure and experience in reviewing the following industries if not banking; including Commercial Real Estate, Shipping, Oil and Gas, Large businesses etc.  ·       Take ownership of the execution of high quality audit engagements, including management of risk, independence and professional scepticism·       Manage key components of multiple audit engagements including the strategy, planning, risk assessment, team management, engagement economics and delivery of exceptional client service·       Embrace new audit enablers and solutions·       Challenge the effectiveness of the audit strategy and approach for all engagements·       Actively engage in required consultations·       Team effectively with other service lines·       Embrace feedback from internal and external inspection teams to enhance the execution of quality audits·       Provide relevant insight, connectivity, and responsiveness to all clients demonstrating a good understanding of their business·       Develop strong relationships across a network of existing and future clients, and other key stakeholders·       Identify and implement operational efficiencies·       Focus on people development by counselling, coaching and directly impacting others through the identification of stretch and challenging experiences·       Build and develop high performing and diverse teams by creating a trusting, supportive and inclusive team environment What are we looking for: - Master?s Degree qualified in a financial/mathematical field- Studying towards or completed ACA/ACCA qualification (or international equivalent)- Proven experience in managing external audit engagements - Proven experience operating at Manager level and working with Banking & Capital Markets Clients EY is committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements.
