Keepmoat Regeneration are recruiting for a Bid Manager to be based in Koppers Way, Hebburn, NE 31 2EX. This is a temporary full time role, for six months, Monday to Thursday 08:00 until 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 16:00. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, and benefits package.Keepmoat Regeneration, part of the ENGIE Group, is the leading provider of regeneration services in the UK. Purpose of the Role:The main purpose of this role is to manage the process of bidding for and securing major bid opportunities and this role is part of the Business Development team. Develop proposals in line with company strategy and development plans. Develop systems and capture information to aid future bids. To understand, implement and adhere to SHEQ policy and strategy and ensure that all staff reporting to you does the same. Key Responsibilities:Day to day responsibility for managing bids teams in liaison with the Bid Director / Area Director / BDMManaging and coordinating the procurement process in liaison with the Bid Director / Area Director / BDMLiaison with the appropriate internal bid teamLiaising with regional businesses through agreed channelsManaging internal and external relationships with bid teams and specialist advisorsReporting progress and issues to the Bid Director / Area Director / BDM Integrating central resources with regional business unit resource on project specific basisSupporting regional business units in:Liaison with specialist advisorsProduction and coordination of contractor proposalsAttendance at procurement processCoordination of information with partnersProduction of bid programmes and action plansIncreasing understanding of market and positions in the sector BDM to gain market intelligenceSupporting the production and maintenance of a project bid budget Offer assistance, support and mentoring to other team membersFor more information about Keepmoat Regeneration please visit:   What we are looking for: SkillsIndustry specific knowledgeProven track record in the sector or similar rolePrevious experience in a similar role within a competitor High level of interpersonal skillsGood at developing relationshipsAble to communicate at all levelsProven management skillsExperienceBid Submissions and Bid Preparations Bid writing experience Experience as a Business Manager ideally within a similar industryExperience with preparing and holding presentationsWhy work for us?
