Job title : Business Intelligence Technical ArchitectNumber of vacancies : 1Salary : £36000 - £38,000Start Date: 20/07/2017Closing Date : 19/08/2017Job DescriptionA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Technical Architect to work at our London office and at client locations across UK. Responsibilities?           Understand client?s current infrastructure and system landscape and advise go-forward solution for client?s Bi & DW domain?           Understand the client requirements, vision and strategy for data?           Evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and develop and implement appropriate technical solutions?           Manage and own the whole data warehousing design process and advise best practices to client?s IT teams?           Create technical design document including logical data model and walkthrough with stakeholders?           Must have exposure in data partitioning, data replication, apart from the regular utilities in warehousing & analytics functionality, have got the exposure in other industry standard warehousing technologies, and have got the clear concept on the technology stack?           Play an advisory role to customers and prospects and provide thought leadership & IT/Business transformation recommendations in Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence technology areas?           Establish an architecture road map to implement the architecture strategy, developing the business cases for technical projects, such as platform upgrades or consolidation and data architecture rationalization.?           Develop and maintain ETL processes?           Analyse, develop and automate DOI data requests, Internal and external data?           Providing recommendations on the evolution of the architecture of the overall data warehouse and Business Intelligence platform/capability?           Continual performance tuning, Capacity planning for future growth needs?           Works collaboratively across business units and IT to facilitate business requirements gathering for reports?           Plan and execute developments according to Agile/SCRUM methodologies.?           Application of best practice across the whole SDLC development, unit testing, continuous integration/build/deployment, and user acceptance testing?           Manages customer relationship by communicating architecture standards and frameworks; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues Skills and Experience·     Bachelors degree as a minimum but Master's preferred·    Must have expert level proficiency in at least 4 of the following DW/BI tools namely Informatica, Business Objects, Qlikview, Cognos, Microstrategy, Oracle, Teradata·     Advanced proficiency in DataStage customization· Hands-on experience in design and development of Business Intelligence applications from inception· Should have a proven track record of change and excellent experience (both implementation and technical)·   Strong background as a Technology Architect, specifically with extensive experience within Banking domain·  Drive changes within Business and IT Executive Leadership in a large organization preferable within Financial Services domain·    Strong stakeholder management including senior level business stakeholders·    Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project planning, and SharePoint SalaryThe role offers a salary between £36000 - £38,000 per annum based on a 37.5 hours week, with hours from 9.00am ? 5.00pm LocationThe successful applicant will work from the firm?s office in London and at client locations across UK How to ApplyApplicants should apply using the link on this website The closing date for applications is 19/08/2017
