Business Manager (Public Health Contracts)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Commissioning Operations team of NHS England (Yorkshire and the Humber) as Business Manager (Public Health Contracts) for South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw. The role will be based in Rotherham, although a flexible approach is required as a presence at meetings across the Yorkshire and the Humber area will be required.NHS England leads the National Health Service (NHS) in England. Key to this approach is making sure that the needs and wishes of patients are at the heart of everything we do and every decision we make, driven by clinical leaders to help transform health outcomes in their local communities.The Public Health team is part of the Yorkshire and The Humber Commissioning Operations Directorate and are responsible for the commissioning, contracting, development and performance management of Screening, Immunisation and Child Health Information services. The Business Manager post will have responsibility for the contract management and business functions of the Public Health programmes as part of the Section 7a agreement. You will need previous contract management experience and excellent organisation, analytical and communication skills to be able to monitor and negotiate contracts with providers.The focus will primarily be on the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw locality, however the team works across the whole Yorkshire and the Humber area.
