Our client is looking for experienced Care Assistants to work in the Lincoln Area to start work immediately. They provide a short term residential care setting that can accommodate 7 residents with mild to moderate mental health conditions. You will be required to work alongside the established team of Carers in providing an individualised plan of care taking into account their personal mental health needs and requirements. You will be required to follow individual care plans and complete paperwork and reporting any problems to the senior members of staff. You will be assisting in the resident?s activities of daily living, including aspects of personal care. You will also be providing a supportive atmosphere, one where the resident feels safe to open up and discuss the issues surrounding their illnesses. You will also take part in assessing the needs of these individuals in relation to dealing with their mental health.  We require our Care Assistants are required to have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care with all your relevant mandatory training being relevant and up to date. You will be expected to work on a one to one basis with some residents at times. You must have an awareness and passion to work people with mental health problems as this role is mainly one to one care.  This service is staffed 24 hours per day but they are looking for Carers to work Afternoons shifts starting at 1300 hrs to 1900 hrs. There are other shifts available on request. Weekend support is also required and this will be paid at a premium.  The rates of pay for this home will range between £7.50 to £8.50 per hour.  To work for this client, you must have; ·         NVQ LVL 2 or time served with checkable work history·         Moving & Handling and Hoist Training as a bare minimum.·         Up to date DBS/ CRB check for adult services, preferably on the update service or the facilities to be able to pay for one upfront. As with all of our clients this is expected to be a regular, ongoing positions with the chance of permanent employment being offered to successful candidates.  So if you feel you are suitable for this role please call our care team to book in for an interview in your local office on 0115 9422008 or email your CV to .
