37.5 hours per week (Additional hours as required) Job DetailsMain responsibilities include:Providing technical advice to clients and members of the Certification business, with expectation to project manage the work flows with autonomy in senior roles.Improving and developing your knowledge regarding all European Technical Specifications and National European and International Test Standards relating to fire safety. Senior engineers are expected to lead the development of standards in relevant product areasConducting product appraisals on fire safety products and materials, performing technical audits and preparing technical files, delivering certifications.Conducting assessments in lieu of fire tests where appropriateRepresenting the company, as appropriate, on nominated standards, sector group and trade association committees and on other public platforms where requiredPursuing new markets, clients and services to expand the Warrington Certification businessResponding to customer queries in an accurate, professional and timely mannerPromote internal and external collaboration and team work in different product areas What Are We Looking For?Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointA good general education, including English and MathsPreferably further or higher education and professional qualification in an engineering disciplinePreferably relevant industry experience relating to fire safety of materials and productsExcellent attention to detailStrong commercial focusStrong written and verbal communication skills Who Are We Looking For?Ability to handle a varied workload in a busy environmentRespond positively to changeAbility to work on your own initiativeAble to work within a groupWillingness to learn and develop new skillsWillingness to travel as require We are an equal opportunities employer
