We are seeking to recruit a full time chef. As a member of the team you must show a willingness to strive for great customer satisfaction through your proven experience and abilities working within a kitchen. We are looking for a passionate chef who can work as part of a team and/or on his/her own.Responsibilities:-* Effective communication skills* Prepare, handle and cook all food items* Assist in developing new dishes* Contribute to working within agreed budgets* Assist in the training of staff in the preparation of food (minimum level 2 in Food Safety Catering)* Organise food stocks effectively & in a efficient manner * Control waste and introduce control measures to keep in line with budget* Contribute to the kitchen management administration system* Deliver exceptional high food service & kitchen standards* Assist in developing rotas in line with hotel business* Adhere to Health & Safety policies & procedures* Contribute to stock taking as and when required* Contribute to the Cleaning of the workplaceThe above is not an exhaustive list of all duties that the successful candidate may be required to do.Previous experience in a similar role with a minimum 2 years as chef de partie/Junior Sous.Please forward your cv should you feel that you are a suitable candidate
