What might a typical day in this job look like?If you are a successful candidate, you will be expected to provide basic responsibilities in the kitchen.Some of your everyday tasks may include:- understanding all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and health and safety - preparing all dishes on the menu- managing a busy check and takeaway system - food hygiene processes- ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy at all timesThis is just a selection of some of the duties you might be doing What will I learn?Hospitality Level 2- Level 2 SVQ in Food Production- ICT (SCQF3)- Communication (SCQF3)- Working with others (SCQF4)- Problem Solving (SCQF4)- Health &Safety at Work certificate and Food Hygiene Certificate (excl front office &housekeeping)- Scottish Alcohol licensing certificate for staff working on drink service routes within licenced premises.- Employment Rights and Responsibilities Workbook All of your training will be provided by learndirect, the nations largest provider of Apprenticeships.
