Due to an internal promotion we are recruiting for a Construction Secretary to join our Developments team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting time for you join our growing team and be part of the delivery the Group?s approach to place making, creating high quality mixed tenure and mixed use neighbourhoods, where people want to live and stay.What your role will beYour role is instrumental to the success of the development and construction teams. You will provide administrative support, facilitating meetings, minute taking, handling architects drawings and blueprints, preparing tender documents and dealing with contractors. Within our team you will support the business meet performance targets and help manage the overall office. Working alongside Quantity Surveyors, Design Managers and other development staff. This is an exciting time to join our Places development team and learn in a job that can be pressured but exciting.Your backgroundYou must have experience working in an administration position in a construction setting and be effective at taking minutes at meetings. You will be a confident communicator ? comfortable talking to people at all levels including senior managers, contractors and suppliers. Experience preparing tender documents and handling architect drawing would be beneficial.
