Do you have excellent organisational skills? Do you have experience in dealing with criminal investigations? As a Counter-Fraud Investigator you will be responsible for the day to day investigations across the DVSA Driver/Rider/Vehicle environments, ensuring delivery of an effective, timely, business and customer focused counter fraud investigations in accordance with plans and corporate objectives. The role has specific responsibility for counter fraud (reactive), bribery and corruption investigations. You will be responsible for providing a rigour by which matters of impropriety in the areas identified above can be managed and actioned as required by the Investigation Manager, Senior Investigation Manager and the Head of Counter-Fraud. Role Responsibilities: Investigations (May include some or all of the following) ? General ? Vehicle related investigations ? Roadside Checks ? Approved Driving Instructors ? Theory and Practical Driving tests ? Internal Fraud ? Approved Driving Instructor Misconduct ? Customer Contact Additional Information: ? There will be a requirement to work outside of normal office hours, and periods away from home ? Investigations may take enforcement action against individuals, which can on occasion lead to confrontational situations ? Extensive travelling using appropriate transport mode in line with T&S rules As the successful candidate you will need to meet the following essential criteria for this role: ? Ability to extract accurate, concise summaries from complex information that can be understood by a wide audience ?
