Key Responsibilities: * Resolving any queries customers may have over the phone or via email * Having a detailed knowledge of the company's services, procedures and processes, to enable problems to be dealt with as they arrive, often dealing with issues under time pressure * Maintain customer/potential customer data bases * Complete records of telephonic interactions, orders and accounts * Open to trying different or new approaches * Contribute to continuous improvement of processes through highlighting problems and identifying opportunities for improvement * Support other areas of operation where increased work volumes have been received Essential Skills * At least 1 year experience in a customer service based environment * Minimum BSc qualification or equivalent * Efficient skill level and experienced background with computers including Microsoft Office * Qualifications in Mathematics and English * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to ensure that successful relationships are established and maintained with customers * Can deal with escalated customer telephone calls in a prompt, customer focused manner * Have strong data input skills (speed and accuracy) * Logical, analytical thinking with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively * Previous experience of the energy industry and use of CRM would be advantageous Benefits * Modern office in a great Nottingham location served by bus/tram * Salary of 17000 to 22000 per annum( dependant on experience) * 28 days' holidays (including bank holidays) * Progressive career development for the right individual Candidates will be cross trained in the areas of sales, customer service, and operation management.
