Together we are responsible for defining and executing digital content across three of Tesco's primary online ecommerce businesses; Tesco Direct, F&F Clothing and Tesco Groceries for the UK and Ireland.As a key part of delivering experiences on crucial customer touchpoints, we work in collaboration with Brand, Digital Marketing, UX and commercial teams on projects of all sizes.We inspire, design and deliver the very best digital creative and content for our customers. Always optimising to drive engagement, conversion and satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesCreation of concepts, ideas and high-quality optimised artworkPresentation of your designs to fellow team members and senior designersDelivery of projects for weekly updates to our live customer facing websitesDeliver assets to developers Contributing to higher business value projects such as event landing pagesWorking from established design templates, style guides and interaction guidesCollaboration with other designers, copywriters, and front-end developersOwning the quality of your work, under pressure and with meticulous attention to detailConnecting with the wider Tesco design community, embracing the many opportunities to learn and develop.Ideal CandidateSkills and experienceExperience with the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, SketchAble to experiment with, and self-learn, emerging design software and techniquesInterest in digital design for desktop, tablet and mobile devicesDemonstrable graphic design sensibilities (selecting imagery, crafting layouts, graphic assets, typography)Understanding and experience in responsive designEnthusiasm for designing the following touchpoints: homepages, category pages, campaign pages, event pages, email, social media artefacts, Design knowledge of HTML and CSS would be an advantage Previous experience in ecommerce or online retail would be an advantage.About youYou have a passion for design and technology, with a keen interest in visual arts and digital cultureSelf-motivated and organisedA great communicatorCapable of listening to and acting on the needs of your stakeholders and our customersAble to work quickly and hit deadlines.
