If you have a creative eye and are able to work in the fast-lane of fashion please read on and apply!The Ecommerce Trading Manager Opportunity:Managing a team of trading executives and assistants, and reporting to the Head eCommerce, this role is responsible for the ecommerce trading activity across our websites. You will be responsible for the trading activity on sites in English with further international expansion planned.You will manage the execution of the promotional plan across our websites ensuring all promotional activity goes live correctly and according to plan. This involves managing the online shopping experience across key global markets delivering against customer expectations and meeting business performance KPIs.This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce Trading Manager to join a leading fashion company. They pride themselves in pioneering affordable fashion with an emphasis on attention to detail.†A key part of trading the websites is understanding the website performance. You will use web analytics tools and work with the Insight Team to monitor performance of all the key elements of the website in order to identify improvements and opportunities across the mobile site and app, make recommendations and execute to a high standard.This role requires a strong commercial flair, communication and organisation skills.Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:†+ Manage the execution of the promotional plan across all mobile and app websites+ You will have a strong understanding of the trading performance of each website (banner clicks, traffic behaviour, conversion triggers etc) and feed this into the key directional and other trading meetings to use as a basis to make decisions around the promotional plan.+ You will be responsible for the execution of the promotional plan across each mobile and app website making decisions as to how best to execute promotions on the website to gain maximum visitor attention and drive sales and conversion.+ You will manage your team to deliver the promotional plan across the our group of websites in multiple languages ensuring all promotional activity goes live correctly and according to plan including performing out of hours, weekend checks and managing the weekend rota.+ You will monitor the ongoing performance of online promotions making any recommendations for change and feeding this back to other managers,†Head of Department and Directors as appropriate:+ You will be responsible for ensuring that user experience is optimum at all times on a day to day basis and consult with the User Experience team on this as necessary.Supporting the launch of international websites and new functionality:+ A key part of your role will be supporting the launch of new websites and working with your team to manage the ongoing management and trading of these websites.+ Manage the trading of all new mobile and app sites ensuring you meet targets for website conversion, sales, basket abandonment and average order value.+ You will work with the User Experience Manager on new strategies to improve the our performance against these KPIs on an ongoing basis.Managing language translation process:+ As part of the role you will work closely with our translation partners ensuring all non-English language mobile and app sites are translated accurately and all weekly promotional content is translated on time and to standard.+ You will manage the team to liaise with the translation agency every day monitoring costs, ensuring working relations are positive and deliver business goals, costs are managed and the translation process runs smoothly across all markets delivering a very high standard of translated language content+ You will manage the process within your team for checking all content across the translated language sites ensuring that there are no errors and all content is accurateUnderstanding and monitoring website performance:+ You will use web analytics tools and work with the Insight Team to monitor performance of all the key elements of the mobile and app sites in order to understand the success of the promotional programme and make recommendations for changes on a daily basis.+ You will be comfortable using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and making recommendations using data as a basis.+ You will mentor your team and organise appropriate training on these analytics tools and ensure your team follow a customer and data centric approach when changing the websites.Supporting User Experience improvements and localisation+ You will work with the User Experience team to improve the performance of the mobile and app sites market to market. You will take into account local competitors, cultures etc to make recommendations for changes, enhancements and improvements.+ You will work with partners to manage and deploy personalization software to improve the shopping experience of customers and deliver a more targeted programme of promotions including testing new executions to different customer groups.
