Location:  Highfield CampusSalary:   £29,799 to £36,613 Pro rata per annumFull Time Fixed TermClosing Date:   Friday 06 October 2017Interview Date:   To be confirmed Reference:  922017FPAn Enterprise Fellow position is available within the Cyber Security Academy (CSA).The successful candidate will, under the overall direction of the CSA's director, be responsible for the CSA's operational activities and support business development, marketing, financial management and commercialisation of research through consultancy, licensing and collaborative research programmes. The successful candidate will develop and manage a broad and significant range of enterprise relationships, delivering growth to the Academy?s membership base. They will promote the Academy as a centre of excellence in research, teaching and outreach on a national and international level, lead and manage all operational (non-research) activities, lead outreach and outward facing activities of the Academy, engage with both public and private sector organisations on behalf of the University through the Academy. They will develop the business planning of CSA Enterprise activities, including new business opportunities, budgetary planning, new business relationship models and manage the legal and governance issues arising from these activities. They will manage all day-to-day aspects of the CSA?s operations ensuring the Academy?s professional operation and compliance with the Academy?s and the University?s governance requirements. They will contribute to develop and deliver effective and efficient management processes ensuring that all non-research CSA?s responsibilities and commitments to members are executed and reported in a transparent and timely manner. They will develop and manage a broad and significant range of enterprise relationships with external organisations (public and private sector) at decision maker level in both CSA member and non-CSA member organisations, develop, qualify and manage a pipeline of potential CSA members, deliver a high-quality stream of candidate members for the Academy by identifying and developing compelling business propositions through consultative business development and presentation of proposals. They will lead the commercial and operational management of a programme of relevant Continued Professional Development (CPD) Courses, manage the promotion and marketing of the programme and ensure that the Academy?s members? requirements are met, develop and deploy a business model and delivery strategy for CPD courses ensuring that the CPD programme is viable.   The post is fixed term full time and will be offered from October 2017. The post will be held in the Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Southampton.
