SafeNet Domestic Abuse Service provides a range of accommodation and community based support service to those at risk of domestic abuse. SafeNet deliver safe refuge and community based services to those at the highest level of risk of serious harm across Lancashire, and we welcome the opportunity to extend our services into various locations such as Burnley, Blackpool, Preston and Rochdale.  We currently have a vacancy for a Floating Support Worker at our Rochdale location:  Floating Support Worker (Rochdale) ? 12 Months Maternity CoverSalary: £21,222 per annum (pro rata circa 37hrs)Hours: Actual 24 hours per week ? on a flexible basis (Monday ? Sunday) You will provide proactive, direct practical and emotional support to victims of domestic abuse in the Rochdale communities, to keep them safe from further domestic abuse and violence.  You will be first point of contact for the service, assessing incoming referrals and risk using a triage system. You will also make contact with new clients, explain the service, carry out initial risk assessments and safety planning, building client confidence and encourage engagement with Rochdale Floating Support Service. Paid posts attract a pension scheme and generous annual leave allowance. Closing Date:24th November 2017 at 12pm If this post is of interest to you, please visit our Calico Jobs Website. Offers are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
