General Manager - This can be a New Year start if preferredGeneral Manager required for The West Port Hotel, which is located centrally within the historic town of Linlithgow. Comprising of a pub/restaurant, upstairs late night bar and nine upmarket boutique hotel rooms with bed & breakfast included..The West Port has a modern country inn feel with its cosy booths opposite the bar offering ample seating while the restaurant area serves traditional favourites alongside contemporary dishes with Stonegate?s Scottish Classic menu. The West Port is renowned for its amazingly friendly service and quality food which provides a strong base of regular diners.The upstairs Code Bar, part of the West Port Hotel is Linlithgow?s only late night bar; It has recently received a £100,000 modernisation which launched a new premium sports offer complete with Sky, BT Sports, TV screens and Big Screen. The modernised décor has brought the coolness of the bar bang up to date with a relaxed retro feel, and has transformed the town?s vibrancy late Saturday nights with its extended opening hours.In addition there are nine recently refurbished en-suite bedrooms fully equipped with a TV (Freeview), hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, luxury toiletries, iron and ironing board and free Wi-Fi and breakfast for all guests.The Manager who is appointed at the Westport Hotel will be an individual who can create a pub environment which is central to the community. We are looking for a hands-on General Manager who wants to engage with existing & new customers to invigorate the Westport and deliver the potential of this fantastic venue.You must have a passion for delivering exceptional service & standards day and night and the ability to turn your hand to leading very different parts of the business. Passion & personality are a must together with a positive attitude & a determination to be the best.
