Your new role You will be joining the growing, flagship Bristol office as the newest member of the Building Surveying team. You will be allocated project work right away and you will be working alongside the entire team, who can provide you with help and support as you work your way through your APC diary. You will also get one to one support from your dedicated APC coach. During your training you will get to work on completing building, condition and measured surveys, advise on repair, refurbishment, construction and design of a variety of properties, analyse and report on building defects, provide advice in connection with appeals, boundary disputes, grants, arbitrations and many other tasks related to the discipline. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a graduate of a degree in Building Surveying, or other closely related subject that is accredited by the RICS as chartership is a must down the line. You will also need to be driven and motivated to be able to complete your training and pass your final interview before you will be awarded your chartered status. Previous experience in building surveying gained in work placements or recent employment is highly beneficial but not essential.
