 JOB TITLE/SCHEME: Graduate Quality Engineer HOW MANY ROLES: 1 START DATE: ASAP OVERVIEW OF ROLE: This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, committed and enthusiastic team-worker to work as part of a small dedicated and busy manufacturing team.Providing Quality Control and Inspection for a small manufacturing cell producing components in small batch quantities in a variety of materials.The role consists of:·         monitoring shop floor quality·         identifying and implementing product and process improvements·         conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions on any quality problems. Ability to work to a high standard within tight time constraints within a small team is essential.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare competitive tenders/estimates from drawings, schedules provided by our clients and information collated by the contracts managers from initial site visits.Understand commercial and contractual matters within the tenders/estimates.Prepare documents for tender/estimates for the return dates and issue to our clients.Prepare documents/paperwork as necessary prior to commencement of works.To comply with all construction Health & Safety requirements.To act as an ambassador when dealing with clients.Any other duties deemed to be commensurate with the post. PERSON SPECIFICATION:  ·         Degree qualified ? relevant field·         Ability to understand the clients Software and Services offerings and to communicate their value proposition to our customers and prospects  ·         Engineering Background·         Must interact effectively with all levels of management and staff, internally and externally ·         Driving License HOURS:Minimum 40 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday ? Friday  Hours will be increased in busier periods as work schedules require. This will be paid at an over time rate of 1.5 times the hourly rate. Holiday: 21 days holiday plus Bank holidays. Salary: Competitive
