This is a fixed term opportunity until 31 March 2019Interviews for this post will be held 11th and 12th April 2018The role of the HR Assistant  sits within the Temporary Staffing team, which focuses on supplying a temporary workforce across the Trust. The Temporary Staffing department is a busy, lively team based at our Trust Head Quarters in Ashton Under Lyne.  Role Summary:To provide an effective and professional Temporary Staffing solution across the Trust. To liaise with Workers, managers and agencies to ensure maximum fill rates across the Trust. To maintain accurate records relating to the Temporary Staffing which can be used to offer assurance to the Trust in respect of our statutory obligations.To provide support to the HR Officer ? Temporary Staffing, ensuring efficient and smooth running of the Temporary Staffing Service.Key Responsibilities of the Post:To support the HR Officer ? Temporary Staffing in the training of ward/service staff in the use of the BankStaff systemTo work to and meet all Temporary Staffing Key Performance Indicators.To coach managers on the Out of Hours booking procedure. Escalating non compliance to the HR Officer ? Temporary Staffing.To liaise with the Learning and Development Department regarding Temporary Workers training and induction.To liaise effectively with all recruitment agency suppliers and ensure full, detailed briefs are provided when placing bookings with suppliers.To comply with directives from NHS Improvement to reduce agency spend to a minimum when covering temporary shifts.To participate in audit activity as required, including reviewing systems and providing evidence to follow up checks. To communicate effectively at all levels, using excellent customer service techniques.To take a proactive approach in the allocation of shifts to enable forward planning. This advert closes on Thursday 5 Apr 2018
