Furthermore, you will be part of a compassionate team that values your input, knowledge, experience and ideas which, as a result, will help influence the development of the 0-19 Public Health Service.As a Health Visiting Public Health Nurse you will hold a vital role in assessing the health needs of children, young people and families in diverse communities of Derby. You will need to be a proactive, confident and enthusiastic individual who is devoted to using service receiver feedback to improve children?s health services for the future. Your role will include safeguarding responsibilities and therefore you will work in partnership with colleagues from both statutory and voluntary agencies.In return, Derbyshire Healthcare offers its staff a package of benefits and rewards, including excellent training and development opportunities. For newly qualified staff the Trust provides a 12-month preceptorship programme with day-to-day support from a mentor or preceptor.
