Applications are invited for the role of H&S Assurance Manager within the Estates Department of the University of the West of England. Based at our Frenchay campus, but covering the entire university estate (predominantly the Bristol area), you will be responsible for aspects of property statutory compliance for all university properties.To this regard, you will be accountable for ensuring statutory compliance as well as University Specifications, Design Guides and other technical standards for all installations. The post holder will be accountable for ensuring compliance with all property-based statutory requirements including in particular; The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 HSE ACoP (L8), The Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems 2013, BS 9999 (Fire Safety), plus the statutory requirements of the Equality Act 2010.An appropriate industry qualification as well as evidence of CPD will be required. This post is full time and is not available on a job share basis.
