We are looking for someone who embraces our values, who has a lively personality and a driven desire to excel in what you do.Our priorities are, simply put, our guests and our staff and as a management team we endeavour to ensure we offer both an awesome experience.The Operations Manager will be a part of the Hotels? leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel. Responsibilities will involve all aspects of the F&B function of the Hotel, including the Bars & three Restaurants, In-Room Dinning, Financials & Budgeting and Management of colleagues in compliance with the operating standards and policies and procedures.This role will directly report to the General Manager of the Hotel.Scope of the PositionDirects and organises the activities of the Food & Beverage department in maintaining high standards of the operation in quality, service and food delivery to maximise profits and guest experiences.Reviews food and beverage menus submitted by the Head chefs and Restaurant Managers to determine that sufficient items are ordered weekly, utilising experience and knowledge of hotel operations.Inspects food service facilities to ensure that equipment and buildings meet hotel standards and local health laws.Inspects and tastes prepared foods to maintain quality standards and health regulations.Analyses information concerning guest experiences and is committed to and is always striving to achieve guest satisfaction in line with pre agreed measurable targets.Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of Scottish law.Desired Skills and ExperienceMust have at least 3-5 years? experience at a senior level in 4/5-star HotelBe innovative and creative,Financially savvy,Connect emotionally with guest and internal customer.Excellent verbal and written communication skills,People Management Skills.Well versed with technology, which helps F&B to take next levelMust be passionate and well qualified to further develop and train the Head chefs and F&B teamCompetitive salary package including accommodation, leisure membership, meals on duty and Resort discounts is available
