Horizon Search and Selection are delighted to be working with a well-established property underwriting agent in a central location in Bury St Edmunds. They currently have a vacancy to support their growing team by providing efficient and organised administrative support through first line phone support and fulfilment and issuing of documents. Duties include: Control and processing of all administrative tasksDistribution of tasksDeputise for the Head of Underwriting Support in ensuring all daily tasks are completedProvide assistance to new members of the support teamDevelop an understanding of the policy coverField incoming calls and identify those that can be resolved and those that need specialist knowledgeProvide excellent customer serviceIssue all documentsClient client documentation packsProcess renewalsBuild relationships with broker partners and chase status of extensions and renewalsAssist with premium reviews at renewalsMaintain contact with clients paying annually and secure their repeat businessBe open to change and feed into continuous improvement systems Required Skills/Experience: Previous experience within the insurance industry is preferredExcellent communication skillsExcellent IT skillsPlanning, organisation and time management skillsAttention to detail and accurate data entry skillsGood standard of education at GCSE level To be considered for this position, please apply through our website or alternatively email Suzanne Mildinhall with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
