To meet customer requirements 11 hours or more per day may be required.My client has been providing waste management and industrial cleaning services across the UK continuously, day and night, since 1977. They are the preferred supplier to the major water utilities, infrastructure, industry, government agencies and domestic sectors. Through continuous investment in vehicles, equipment and staff they have built an organisation that is trusted to deliver a first class service.From the Group`s head office in Bury St. Edmunds and depot locations across the UK, they are ideally placed to support requirements around the clock.In the North, my client are a tier one supplier to the UK's largest listed water companies and are currently looking for experienced High Pressure Water Jetting (HPWJ) Jet Vac Operators to join an expanding and reputable organisation.Jet Vac Operator positions, with immediate starts, are available at their Manchester and Rochdale operating centresHPWJ Jet Vac Operators will undertake HPWJ Jetting duties, including drain and sewer cleaning using high volume combination jetting units ranging from 7.5 ton up to 26 ton. Tasks would also include: - De-silt sewers - Clean wet wells and other underground networks that carry waste and surface water - Undertake core works for the Water Company client on 10 ton City Flex on a shift rota basis.Candidates must ideally hold a drivers CPC qualification and be capable of working flexible shift patterns to meet our client's needs. This would include participation in 'weekend call outs' and working at night and/or away from home as required.KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:* Ensuring their allocated vehicle have all necessary equipment to undertake daily duties* Assist with setting up the signing, lighting and guarding at each site which includes traffic management* Undertake works in the correct manner* Inform Operations Manager of problems or in adequate /faulty equipment.* Complete the necessary paperwork used for reporting back to customer.* Reporting any on site problems to Operations ManagerIf you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be a success in this role, please click apply today!
