Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher (ESR1)Cardiff School of Engineering Applicants are invited for an Early Stage Researcher position in the InnoDC (Innovative tools for offshore wind and Direct Current (DC) Grids) network at Cardiff School of Engineering funded by European Commission?s Marie-Sk?odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Innovative Training Network (ITN). This means that the researchers recruited to the network will receive both technical and non-technical training in order to strengthen their future career options.  The post holder will undertake research on ?Design and control of DC transformers for overlay DC grids? leading to a PhD degree award. The objective of the post is to investigate DC transformers suitable for integration of offshore wind power and interconnection of DC grids.
