The maternity Services at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in South London provides care to 5800 women and babies each year on one site. We have a co-located midwifery led unit where up to 20% of our women give birth and we also have a 24 hour maternity triage service for laboring women and a reputation for providing a high quality services for women and their families. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 midwife to join an existing team of Band 7's to help lead a busy but very friendly Maternity unit. The successful candidates will have a well-established team of midwives and a 24 hour unit leader to support them in their role. You will need to have at least 2-3 year?s midwifery experience at Band 6, ideally in all areas of the maternity service and the mentorship certificate/qualification is essential.You will also need to demonstrate skills in motivating and leading others to focus on the delivery of excellent midwifery care to women in all areas.This advert closes on Monday 7 Aug 2017
