Job Description Job Title:Night Guest Service AssistantReports to:Guest Service ManagerDirect Subordinates:NonePurpose of Job:To assist in the day to day operation of hotel Responsibilities:     ·         Reception duties, including checking in and out of guests, answering telephone, making reservations and dealing with queries and enquiries·         Cash handling including float counting and banking in compliance with brand standards·         Communicate any changes to room status throughout the day with housekeeping·         Bar duties, including setting up, replenishing of stocks, serving guests, cleaning tables and washing glasses·         Setting up, preparation, service and clearing of breakfast including using the dishwasher and general cleaning and tidying·         Preparation of meeting rooms including meeting and greeting of clients, maintenance during the day and clearing after meetings·         Communication of maintenance issues between house keeping and maintenance technician·         Taking deliveries from suppliers ·         Completion of tasks as designated per shift·         Ensuring that cleanliness is maintained in all public areas·         Have good knowledge of your local area·         Be aware of IHG Rewards Club loyalty programme and be actively involved in enrolling new members ·         Embrace Engaging Efficiency Culture ·         Be actively involved in your personal development and training·         Any other duties that may be requested by the management  Relationships:InternalOther Team Members, General Manager and Central OfficeExternalGuests, other users of hotel services and suppliersExperience:None requiredSkills:Articulate and communicativeNumerateGood interpersonal skillsOrganised and systematicConcern for quality of product and serviceComputer literateTeam workerThe shift pattern is 4 on, 2 off continuously.
