Nursery/Out of School Club AssistantAn immediate opportunity has become available for a part time Nursery/Out of School Assistant to work within Hermitage Day Nursery providing cover for staff lunches and then collecting children from a local school and taking them to our After-School Club in Whitwick.Remuneration and BenefitsDepending upon experienceWorking hours of at least 20 hours per weekStrong dynamic and growing companyThe JobThis position is based at our Nursery in Whitwick and After School Club based within Whitwick Park, Nr Coalville, Leicestershire. The Ideal individual:The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:Qualified to at least level 2/3 in childcare or a related subjectAccess to their own vehicle fully insured for drop off and collection of childrenExcellent communication skillsGood organisational skillsA willingness and commitment to provide a fun environment for our childrenExperience working with children aged 0-12 would be desirableAbility to guild a good rapport with children and parents alikeA flexible attitude and willingness to ensure you do what is needed to get the job doneThe Role:Be responsible for ensuring that children are safe and secureBuild effective relationships with the parents of childrenAssist with the planning of activities to create and develop a stimulating environmentAssisting with other members of staff to ensure that all the children?s basic and developmental needs are metThe CompanyThe Company offer full children?s day care services and before/after school care, owning facilities in Leicestershire and Derbyshire, each of which has its own website dedicated towards providing a versatile service to parents. All three facilities are equipped to modern standards and carers have the expertise to provide development and education to babies from six weeks old as they grow.STRICTLY NO AGENCIES
