Job DescriptionThey are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join their web development team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join their team at an exciting time as they bring new products to market and expand.They are looking for someone that has a passion for PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and database technologies who can prove and demonstrate their proficiency via a portfolio of work. The candidate would need to be highly driven in the following areas;- Provide accurate estimates with regards to work and work to a schedule.- Develop core technical functionality and responsive interfaces from designs provided by our in-house design team.- Maintain a high level of awareness of the industry and trends, particularly in regard to development.- Keep abreast of usability standards and emerging technologies.- Be a team player and keep team members informed as appropriate.- Work hard to keep the company's development ahead of their competitors, positioning yourself and the company as specialists in web development.Key Requirements:Qualifications (or equivalent experience):- A Level or Diploma level education- Degree or MA in relevant disciplineExperience:- A high level of experience of front-end web development and database integration- Must be able to present a portfolio of relevant work - please include links/URL's with your CVSkills / Knowledge:- Good communication skills, oral and written- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines- Must have meticulous attention to detail- Excellent coding skills and good understanding of the necessities of cross-browser production- Experience of working with WordPress and Magento- Experience with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (e.g. JQuery, Kendo UI or equivalent libraries) to create rich interactive content, plus experience of using JavaScript frameworks, design patterns and the DRY / SOLID principle- In-depth experience working with web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 and deploying solutions across responsive, cross platform devices/browsers- An appreciation of Technical Debt and Code Quality- High experience and regard to UX, UIGet the Recruitment Genius Advantage today.
