Payroll Administrator Edinburgh Permanent - Full time Salary: 22,000 - 25,000 Change Recruitment have an exciting vacancy with our established and highly reputable public sector client based in Edinburgh. They are looking for an eager and enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to join their business on a permanent, full time basis. Key Duties and Responsibilities > Importing and manually inputting time sheets > Setting up new starts, allocating the correct tax code and any P45 details > Using the system to make employees leavers and changing contract details, hours, FTE salary using scales etc. > Checking gross to net figures > Manually checking all calculations > Answering any email queries and helping employees who have issues with their payslips or to understand tax/NI implications > Making CHAPS payments for instant transfers > Liaising with the HR department and any third parties > Any other ad-hoc duties Skills and Qualifications > Education: Basic Accounting or Business qualification > Experience of working with ERP system > Experience of working within a finance department > Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs > Excellent Excel skills > Good analytical mind > Customer focus is essential, polite and clear telephone manner > Ability to write emails and letters to customers with clear and polite instruction/information > Good attention to detail and accuracy in processing information is a must
