Not every fund is available to every business and we are here to help companies find and securethe funds that are right for them. Funding comes from a range of sources, including high-value European grant fundingprogrammes, individual philanthropists looking to support very specific projects, and a large number of sources inbetween! There are important jobs of navigation, appraisal and decision-making to do, project composition andbid-writing too. These opportunities are not widely communicated, the scope is often difficult to understand and the applicationcriteria can be difficult to tackle. That?s where we come in! By developing a good understanding of businesses, we canhelp align the relevant funding to business growth activities. We can help win cash to resource growth and positivelyimpact wider economic, environmental and social development. Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates with the appropriate skills, vision and desire to work ina fast-paced environment, where expectations are high and there is a strong focus on rapid and sustainable growth.We need a Proposal Writer able to work with businesses to craft compelling applications in a timely and effective way,furthering their objectives in the process. We need someone with a core commitment to good service and a personaldrive to achieve with clients. The Proposal Writer will be responsible for:? Liaising with clients to understand their business, and collect information that will enable robust fundingapplications with the best possible chance of succeeding in the competitive grants arena? Maintaining good communication with clients ? and associated records? Working on funding proposals, applications for grants and tenders for contracts? Building solid and sustainable relationships with referral leads, grant funding administrators andcommissioners? Helping optimise T4C?s success rate in bidding and tendering? Supporting the Team Leader in performance monitoring and reporting? Undertaking any work deemed appropriate by the Directors and Proposal Team Leader Key Responsibilities:? Researching and understanding the requirements of clients and bids/grants/contracts suited to their needs? Collating information required to support potential bids/grants; collecting and interpreting business dataand financial information as well? Researching business sectors, policy, legislation and strategy applicable? Liaising with grant funders and external organisations? Designing, writing, and editing applications Essential Role Requirements:? Excellent research skills? Excellent written and verbal communication skills? Ability to act professionally at all times? Capacity to maintain strict confidentiality? Ability to work on your own initiative? Excellent organisational, project, resource, risk and time management skills, and the ability to work to tightdeadlines? Good knowledge and experience using the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook? Be keen to work in an office environment and be a part of a busy team Desirable:? Experience gained in researching and writing Education:? 5GCSE?s including English and Maths? Educated to at least A Level standard In return for your skills and experience, you will receive;?
