 Job title:Qualified Youth Workers x 2Hours:Up to 16 hours per weekMondays and Tuesdays 4:30pm to 8:30pmImmediate start.Rate of pay:£8.00 to £9.00 per hour, depending on experienceContract :Fixed term for one year due to funding, to be reviewed Are you enthusiastic and passionate about working with young people? For more than 70 years, Hyson Green Youth Club has been ?developing young people through education, leisure and sport?.  A registered charity, we provide a programme of activities for young people all year round.  Can you help us continue to do this?  If, so we are looking to employee a Qualified Youth Worker to: Engage our young people and build their confidence. Develop and deliver high quality activities with young people that support their personal, social and educational development. Do you meet you meet the following requirements?  If so please apply.A minimumNVQ 2 Youth Work qualificationor equivalent qualification including equivalent experience.Understand the needs of children and young people in the area.Good communication skills.Ability to implement and facilitate a variety of planned activities for young people (for 5-21 year olds).Ability to contribute to a programme youth club activities and other events.Experience of working with children and young people (paid or voluntary).An enthusiasm and commitment to youth work and the difference it can make to people?s lives.Up to date working Knowledge of Safeguarding and Health & Safety.
