A vacancy at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiopharmacy Team due to maternity leave for a senior technician to join us and act as the deputy Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Control lead. This post is based at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford, where a new, purpose designed radiopharmacy is currently being commissioned as part of the Oxford Cancer Centre. This facility will supply three diagnostic nuclear medicine departments, a range of therapeutic users, and will provide support for the development of novel radiopharmaceuticals. The centre has excellent links with the University of Oxford, and plans for an on-site cyclotron are well advanced.The main duties will include participation in the aseptic preparation, radiolabelling and dispensing of a range of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with the requirements of the Manufacturer?s Specials Licence and GMP, and day to day management of the in-house provision of environmental monitoring facilities. Previous experience working in radiopharmacy and or microbiology in a QC/QA environment is highly desirable.Interviews will be held on 12th January 2018Please make sure that you read the job description and person specification attached below, and that your statement in support reflects this as your application will be judged against these criteria.
