PLEASE CALL 07780430939AM2PM RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS are recruiting a Recycling and Environmental Operative with Counterbalance FLT licence for our client who are a leading Automotive Manufacturing company.Monday to Friday Rotating shift pattern 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6amOvertime available Saturday and Sunday when requiredKEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESCore Responsibilities ? To become an efficient member of the Waste Department, assisting in departmental goals and targets.SKILLS/REQUIREMENTSEssential·   Good Communication·   Good attitude towards recycling and environment·   Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck License·   Be comfortable working outdoorsAdvantageous·   Good understanding of waste processes·   Experience with granulators/shredders·   Experience with static/portable compactors·   Experience with automatic/semi-automatic balersIndividual Responsibilities ?·   Maintain an exemplary health and safety record on site, ensuring that all practices and procedures are followed at all times.·   Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping in all work areas.·   Undertake training to use waste equipment such as balers, compactors, etc.·   To segregate and process various waste streams using the correct recycling/disposal route.·   To marshal the sites waste in the most cost effective way.·   To record where instructed, the volumes of certain waste streams.·   To provide accurate counts of scrap where instructed.·   To operate machinery safely and in line with best practises.·   To complete tasks promptly so as to allow a sufficient flow of waste stillages/bins back into circulation.·   To control and prep waste for transport in a manner that makes it safe to do so.·   To communicate with the Waste Team Leader/Manager to report any waste issues.·   To actively seek ways to continuously improve the department in line with targets/goals.·   Undertake training to competently use all oil remediation based equipment.·   Routinely monitor oil levels around site, performing maintenance checks on equipment where necessary.·   Use equipment provided to competently remove waste oil from wells, sumps, trenches, etc.·   Safe operation of oil/water separator machine and including discharge of the resulting water via trade effluent.·   To provide accurate records of oil recovery rates.·   To safely and competently relocate remediation equipment when needed.·   Other reasonable duties as required.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £9.58 /hourRequired licence or certification:·   Counterbalance FLT Licence
