Using a range of accredited methods that we can evidence work well in the residential setting, young people develop trusting relationships that allow them to flourish and feel loved and cared for. As a Residential Worker, you will be working in Forres, Moray you are required to be a resourceful and motivated individual, a flexible, creative thinker who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team in a varied and challenging role. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, with particular reference to presenting information such as report writing and recording daily occurrences. How you'll make a difference:By being inclusive and involving young people in things that effect their life.By nurturing young people it gives young people a voice and improves outcomes for young people.By creating a loving and safe environment, it empowers young people to make their own choices.By supporting young people to develop effective and appropriate coping strategies for their emotions and anxieties (Safe, Healthy, and Responsible) empowers them in dealing with their future.By supporting young people to access education (Achieving, Included) allows them to develop at their pace of learning.By supporting young people to develop appropriate friendships and access to extra-curricular activities of their choice.
