This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate with an aspiration to support children with SEN and have a desire to make a difference.This particular role involves 1:1 support for a pupil in year 3 with challenging behaviour. Potential candidates should have a minimum NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in schools or is degree qualified is essentialThe ideal candidate will: Support implementation of strategies to manage behaviourRecord and report the students progress to the teacher and parentsEstablish and maintain relationships with the children and other staffProvide level of attention suitable to pupil's needs modifying approach to ensure that anticipated outcomes are achievedConfident teaching KS1 and KS2 curriculumReliable, passionate and personableWhat we can offer:Competitive pay package starting from 65 (depending on experience)A dedicated consultant who deals with each borough so you are guaranteed a bespoke serviceExtra CPD courses availableMobile app and online access to monitor your diary and control when you workAs a potential applicant with previous experience with Autism, ADHD, EBD, PMLD, etc. is favourable however, overall experience with working with SEN children will be taken into account. Additional training for SEN is great but not crucial as are able to offer course such as, NASEN, Autism Awareness Training and Read, Write Inc. Phonics Training.This role is currently on a temp to perm basis with the strong possibility to go permanent.All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
