As a sales assistant, you are responsible for customer service. This involves everything from dealing with customers and selling goods to handling payments and making sure that the goods are attractively displayed. Your main task will be to help customers find the products they want. You will also offer advice and answer questions, not just about the stores products and prices but also issues like stock availability or any special promotions that may be running. Also you will receive deliveries, unpack, price, merchandise and store stock. You will also arrange ordering and delivering. Previous sales experience with beds and soft furnishings preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Pop into office to collect an application form
