Do you want to be a part of a great company?When it comes to customer service, creating a truly welcoming environment and combining this with superb facilities for our guests whether travelling on business or leisure, Arora Hotels really do stand out from the crowd.The Security Officer will perform hotel security duties and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees and the property as well as the property?s assets.Duties and Responsibilities of the Security Officer- Responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees and establishment needs- Report to Manager all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards- Initiate action to improve a hazardous situation immediately- Implement procedures for security and emergency incidents- In the event of fire, be thoroughly familiar with and guided by the hotel?s emergency plan- Be familiar with location of fire alarms and fire fighting equipment- Conduct random checks of key registers to ensure the hotel?s key control policy is adhered to and report on discrepancies- Ability to carry out investigations, creating and submitting detailed incident and accidents reportsSkills &Experience required by the Security Officer- Knowledge of Health and Safety and its application in the work place- Previous experience working in a Hotel Security Department- Previous exposure to high profile Guests and VIPs- A current SIA license- A positive attitude and good command of the English language due to guest interaction- The enthusiasm to be part of a winning team- Computer literacy.
