The team collaborate with Business Analysis and Testing teams to deliver the changes from original concept through final implementation.  Key Responsibilities:  ·         Participating in the reviewing of Business Requirements and contributing materially to the development of functional design·         Developing source code, including descriptions, for all Software Components in accordance with the Detailed Software Requirements Specification as well as the functional design and technical design documents·         Working closely with other solution architect and functional analyst within the team to understand the requirements and design a solution that complies with the requirements·         Resolving software problems and responding to suggestions for improvements and enhancements·         Creating High Level Design and detailed design documents with the support of architects for the assigned scope items·         Providing L0/L1/L2/L3 development effort·         Identifying all impacted internal and external dependent modules through in-depth impact analysis as well as actively participating in defect triage meetings·         Supporting the Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing team by reviewing test cases and performing timely resolution of defects·         Developing comprehensive unit test cases and unit test plans as well as conducting demos and seeking early feedback·         Conducting comprehensive unit testing and assisting in building an automated unit and regression test suite Skills & Qualifications:  ·         Experience within Commercial development and Big Data development ·         Proven experience in the Software Lifecycle and Programming ·         Design Patterns & Frameworks experience·         Experience in handling normalised and de-normalised data·         Previous hands on development experience in HADOOP BIG data architecture such as Java, map-reduce, HBASE/HIVE, Oozy and Pig ·         Working knowledge of SQL and SPARK·         Previous experience of working in Agile methodology·         Hands on business and systems knowledge gained in a regulatory delivery environment·         Strong working knowledge of Impala Deutsche Bank is an equal opportunity employer who seeks to recruit and appoint the best available person for a job regardless of marital / civil partnership status, sex (including pregnancy), age, religion, belief, race, nationality and ethnic or national origin, colour, sexual orientation or disability. Please let us know if you require any adjustments to enable you to apply or attend an interview.
