Project manager required for large commercial build project in Aberdeen Your new company This job based in Aberdeen will see you working with one of Scotland's most well respected and forward-thinking organisations. Our client is a main contractor with a feeling of a family run business, very focussed on continued market share as they move in to the New Year.,Your new role You will be working for a nationally established main contractor with an excellent reputation throughout Scotland. Typically dealing with large commercial build projects such as primary schools, hotels and offices you will have the chance to work as part of an expanding team who are undertaking some of the most exciting projects in Scotland. Reporting to the project director, you will be responsible for project managing the construction of a 5 star hotel including the steel frame erection and fit out of 200 rooms. You will be responsible for the line management of a number of site managers, attending progress meetings and programming the work to make sure it is completed on time and to budget. You will be responsible for liaising with the commercial and design teams throughout the duration of the projectWhat you'll need to succeed A seasoned project manager, who has exposure of working for a large main contractor, you will have experience in large commercial build projects to the value of 50million. More specifically, you will possess a proven track record in the construction of hotels. As well as this you will have all construction related tickets in place including 5 day SMSTS and first aid at work. What you'll get in return You will receive an excellent salary which is typically about the market average. As well as this you will receive a living away allowance which will be untaxable. Additionally you will receive a car allowance/company car and a bonus including contributory pension.
