NHS Business Services Authority is the provider of at scale business services to the NHS, running a portfolio of services managing over 30billion on behalf of the NHS. We have an excellent reputation with clients and are planning to grow our service portfolio going forward. As part of this process we are embarking on a major change programme that will radically transform the way in which the organisation delivers its services with a focus on self-service supported by effective ICT and digital delivery. This Service Architect role will be responsible for ICT solutions; fully exploiting the opportunities that Digital Service can provide as the NHSBSA transforms the way it provides services. You will have a detailed knowledge of technology, augmented by demonstrable digital strategy and agile delivery experience, with a proven record of delivery for service architecture solutions within large-scale enterprise and cloud environments. You will work with NHSBSA business areas to understand and shape their requirements and will be accountable for the control of the ICT Blueprints which define the end state architecture, current state and the transition roadmaps for the NHSBSA. This includes supporting the creation and execution of technology and service roadmaps that will drive NHSBSA current ICT estate towards cloud technology for strategic systems whilst decommissioning a large proportion of the legacy. Responsibilities include providing strategic advice and key constraints to NHSBSA Technology teams to ensure that project deliveries remain aligned to the Blueprints and help to realise the roadmap. You will work across the NHSBSA?s locations and will therefore be required to undertake a degree of travel across the country. Starting salary will be offered based on the qualifications, capabilities and experience of the successful candidate. Previousapplicants need not re-apply.
