My client, a housing association based across the South West, is looking for a Solutions/Integrations Architect to work on an initial 3 month contract near Reading. You will work with Business Analysts, Process Owners and IT SMEs to build up a library of documentation detailing all required 'To be' system integration processes within the company estate. 'To be' designs should be based on a Publisher/Subscriber design pattern.Key Deliverables:1. Accountable for the designing, specifying and successful hand over to developers of integration solutions between the business systems in line with the attached work package brief2. Where necessary, challenge the way in which the stakeholders think about potential IT integration solutions, suggesting changes to processes that will improve the way in which the business operates to ensure that future state integration delivers benefits to the organisation and is in line with the IT roadmap.3. Accountable for developing and maintaining the model of the company's current and future Application Architecture in so far as it pertains to data flow and integration. 4. Accountable for developing and maintaining documentation of the current and future Data Architecture as required systems integration in a publisher/subscriber model. 5. Work with the Project Managers and Business Analysts to develop high level project schedule resource plans for implementation projects or work packages6. Responsible for ensuring that integration developments deliver to the target application architecture. 7. Maintain a technical understanding of the capabilities of the current technical estate, both current and potential capabilities.8. Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies to ensure an integrated contribution to the corporate objectives.9. Observe and comply with the internal policies and procedures and observe and continually promote equality and inclusion and customer care in compliance with organisational aims and objectives.10. Continuously seek realistic ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in your role, to help the department and company achieve its goals.11. Participate in learning and development activities that develop personal effectiveness and assist in improving performance in the role.12. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation.Experience:Must Have:a. 2 years experience of defining solutions and producing detailed and compelling business casesb. Broad and deep technical understanding of modern technologies covering infrastructure, networking, mobility, business systems, databases, etc. Likely to have 10+ working in a variety of IT delivery focused roles.c. Proven effectiveness in a role where success is achieved through influence, persuasion and networking.d. Proven capability of managing demanding and conflicting stakeholdersNice to have:a. Project delivery experienceb. Business analyst experiencec. Working knowledge of Capita, Keystone or other core business system knowledged. Understanding of the Cranfield Benefit Management Methodologye. Understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAFSkills:a. Proven facilitation skills, able to organise and manage workshops, meetings and events.b. Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.c. Proven financial skills. Ability to build financial cost models for IT solutions.d. Able to plan and prioritise workload.e. Proven communication skills, able to explain complex new concepts to people who are afraid of technology.f.
