Come and join our growing team on the Acute Medical Unit based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The Acute Medical Unit (AMU) aims to achieve high quality standards of multi-professional care excelling in competence, caring, compassion, communication, courage and commitment. We are a medical assessment area, we rapid assess, diagnose and treat, building our skills as highly skilled nurses. We receive patients directly from A&E or from GP referrals, making this a busy unit at times. So if you like a fast paced area, and like to expect the unexpected, then this area could be for you as this is a great opportunity either for a first Band 5 post or to develop your existing experience. Lots of opportunities to grow and develop. We also offer rotation within the Acute Care Hub (urgent care), which is a great opportunity to experience different areas in A&E, AECU (ambulatory care), AMU and short stay ward.This advert closes on Monday 7 May 2018
