Chelsea and Westminster HospitalAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of our medical wards here at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.We have staff nurse vacancies in the following areas:Nell Gwynne Ward ? 24 bedded stroke, neurology and general medical wardRainsford Mowlem Ward ? 36 bedded elderly care, frailty and general medical wardEdgar Horne ? 28 bedded endocrinology, haematology, elderly care ward and general medical wardDavid Erskine ? 30 bedded respiratory, palliative care and general medical wardWe are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic nurses to join our existing teams to continue to provide the highest quality patient care. Both nurses with experience and newly qualified are welcome. Our teams are motivated, committed and creative and want to develop in order to provide the best care we can.As a division we offer band specific development pathways and both in house and university led training programmes. For our newly qualified team members an established preceptorship programme is available. All new starters will attend a welcome breakfast with the division and will benefit from a tailored induction process. Mentors will be allocated and ward manager and practice development support is in place.The Emergency and Integrated Medical Care Division is led by the Divisional Medical Director, Divisional Director of Operations and Divisional Director of Nursing using the triumvirate model of leadership.  The Key Services delivered by this Division are Emergency and Acute Medical Care, Elective Medical Services and Therapy Services, all of which are delivered through the busy but well organised and supported wards and departments.The newly expanded Nursing leadership Team within the division is now at its full establishment and you will have the support of your Ward sister / Manager, Matron, Lead Nurse and Divisional Director of Nursing.The Trust employs over 80 Clinical Nurse Specialists, who you will have the support of and development opportunities associated with such a wealth of expert knowledge within the Trust (Critical Care Out Reach Teams, Palliative Care Teams, Respiratory Specialist Nurses to name a few). We believe our staff should feel valued and proud of the work that they do.The Trusts newly developed values ?Proud to care? were created with and by staff and patients are as follows:P - Passionate about providing excellent patient careR - Responsive to and supportive of my colleagues and patients, being responsible for my actions at all timesO - Open and welcoming, honest and transparent in all my communications as an ambassador for the TrustU - Unfailingly kind, treating everyone with respect, compassion and dignityD - Determined and dedicated to developing my skills and expertise in order to be the best I can beQuality improvement The Trust is committed to delivering high quality care to all of our patients, and has an honest and open approach to learning, developing and improving its safety culture.
